Where Does the Time Go?

Wow...I can't believe it has been a month already. I have been extremely busy the last month with racing, cleaning, and getting ready for a garage sale. I absolutely hate getting ready for a garage sale because it is so much work, but it will be worth it after. Bryli and I went to Topeka and Chicago to watch Papa T race, and she loved it! I bought her head phones to block out the loud noise and she would not wear them. The noise did not bother her at all. She is going to be just like me!
I know last time I blogged I told you that we found a house. Well, Blake and I decided it would be better to stay where we are at for another year. It will save us a ton of money, and Bryli has two little friends here. I do not ever want to move because I like where we are at, but it does not have a basement and just is not big enough for all of Bryli's things. I am happy that we are staying for another year!

It is hard to believe that Bryli is already 4 months old. :( The time is going way too fast! She has gone swimming, started talking (which is hilarious), and has started eating rice cereal. We are just waiting for her to roll over from back to front. She gets soooo close, and just doesn't quite make it.Well...hopefully I will get on here sooner than last time. We plan on having a garage sale in the middle of July, so I will try.

We finally found a house!

Well we finally found a house! Yay...only bad part is that it is in Smithville instead of Platte City. It is only 10 minutes from Platte County High School, so Blake is ok with that. We cannot wait to get inside and paint, and make it our own. It has 3 (possible 4) bedrooms, 2(possible 3) bathrooms, and it is very spacious! The closet in our bedroom is almost as big as Bryli's room (Blake will only get 1/4 of it...haha). The kitchen is a little small, but after we have the money, we cannot wait to spice it up a bit. It also has a very nice backyard for the dogs, so they will love it. We cannot wait! OUR VERY FIRST HOUSE!

Ashli graduated High School on May 17th, which makes me feel very old! She was very excited and cannot wait to start college at UMKC. That makes me nervous, but now that we are moving we will be closer to her.

Me and Bryli will be going to a couple races, Topeka and Chicago. I cannot wait for her to experience that. I will make sure to take lots of pictures so everyone can see!

Where does the time go?

Our little girl is already 2.5 months old and it is so hard to believe! She has been smiling and talking for over a month now, and rolled over before her two month birthday. She is definitely ahead of her age, and we are going to have to start getting in shape to keep up with her. :) Bryli goes to sleep at 11 p.m. and doesn't wake up until 7:30 a.m., then she eats and goes back to sleep until 9:30 or so. She is so much like her father...they both like their sleep! It just amazes me how much she has changed even from Easter.

Blake got a coaching and teaching job at the Platte County High School. So we are now in the process of looking for a home. We knew looking for a home would be hard, but we never thought it would be this hard. We have looked at about 15 homes and have probably one that we actually liked. We are going later today to look at a couple more, so we are keeping our fingers crossed. We will keep you updated!

The Beginning of Something Great!

I am sure you all know that we have added a new addition... Bryli May Seifert. She was born Feb. 15th, 2009 (on my parents anniversary) at 10:18 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 20 inches long. She was so wide awake and full of thick black hair. AND WAS HEALTHY!

When we brought her home, she slept and slept and slept. My mom stayed for 4 days the first week, and 4 days the next. My mom and I have never been so close and I don't think, actually, I know that I could not have done any of it without her. She helped me out so much, made dinner, kept my house clean, and kept me sane.

Bryli slept for 4 hours straight at night the first week and ever since has slept 6-9 hours at night. I couldn't ask for a better baby. She is perfect!

You hear people telling you that a baby will change your life forever, but you never know what they are talking about until your little bundle of joy arrives. We would never change our life for anything. Bryli is one of the best things that has ever happened to us and she has definitely changed our lives forever!
