Where does the time go?

Our little girl is already 2.5 months old and it is so hard to believe! She has been smiling and talking for over a month now, and rolled over before her two month birthday. She is definitely ahead of her age, and we are going to have to start getting in shape to keep up with her. :) Bryli goes to sleep at 11 p.m. and doesn't wake up until 7:30 a.m., then she eats and goes back to sleep until 9:30 or so. She is so much like her father...they both like their sleep! It just amazes me how much she has changed even from Easter.

Blake got a coaching and teaching job at the Platte County High School. So we are now in the process of looking for a home. We knew looking for a home would be hard, but we never thought it would be this hard. We have looked at about 15 homes and have probably one that we actually liked. We are going later today to look at a couple more, so we are keeping our fingers crossed. We will keep you updated!

The Beginning of Something Great!

I am sure you all know that we have added a new addition... Bryli May Seifert. She was born Feb. 15th, 2009 (on my parents anniversary) at 10:18 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 20 inches long. She was so wide awake and full of thick black hair. AND WAS HEALTHY!

When we brought her home, she slept and slept and slept. My mom stayed for 4 days the first week, and 4 days the next. My mom and I have never been so close and I don't think, actually, I know that I could not have done any of it without her. She helped me out so much, made dinner, kept my house clean, and kept me sane.

Bryli slept for 4 hours straight at night the first week and ever since has slept 6-9 hours at night. I couldn't ask for a better baby. She is perfect!

You hear people telling you that a baby will change your life forever, but you never know what they are talking about until your little bundle of joy arrives. We would never change our life for anything. Bryli is one of the best things that has ever happened to us and she has definitely changed our lives forever!
